The value for money at Patriko Traditional Stone Houses was excellent - clean, well-kept rooms in a beautiful stone house, located in a quiet village surrounded by stunning views. The staff, especially Manolis and his wife, were incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing us with local snacks, drinks, and great recommendations for exploring Crete.
The food for breakfast could be improved with more variety or additional options.

The apartment is cozy and well decorated with nice wooden ceilings. It is convenient and has everything needed for a short stay. The owner, Manolis, is friendly and provides helpful information about the area. The village and nearby gorge with a historical cave are worth exploring.
Felt safe, no complaints at all.

We had a fantastic stay at this place! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The host, Manolis, went above and beyond to make us feel like family. He provided us with great recommendations for exploring the surrounding area. The hotel itself was beautiful and comfortable. The rooms were well-equipped and clean, with lovely balconies adorned with grapes. It was such a pleasure to enjoy our breakfast there. This place is located in a charming little village, away from the touristy areas, but still easily accessible from Chania airport. We highly recommend this hotel for its location and welcoming atmosphere.
Highly recommended for everyone.

Arriving late at night, we were still warmly welcomed and treated to delicious, homemade cake and a local spirit that was very tasty. Our stone house was simple, but very comfortable with balconies surrounded by fresh grapes and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The location was great for exploring the local area by car, with plenty of beautiful beaches nearby and charming local villages to explore. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, full of tips and advice for our travels.
While the location was perfect for exploring the local area, it did take quite some time to reach the stone houses from the airport, which might be a concern for those with limited time in the area. parking could be a bit tricky if you have a larger car, as the area is quite steep and small.

We recently stayed at a mountain retreat in Crete that was simply breathtaking. the hosts were extremely pleasant and made us feel at home right away. the traditional Cretan architecture added to the charm of location. the rooms were spacious and had comfortable, cozy beds, traditional wooden ceilings, and beautiful views of the mountains. the homemade treats and welcome gifts provided by the hosts were amazing. the nearby caves, tavernas, and gift shops were a joy to visit. We highly recommend this hidden gem in Crete.
The parking could be a bit of a challenge for larger vehicles.

We had a delightful stay at Patriko. The house was beautifully designed, and each room had its own bathroom. We were lucky enough to stay in a room with a terrace where we could enjoy the sunrise. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, offering us homemade sweets and traditional Raki. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet village but still close to the main road, making it easy to explore the island. a fantastic experience.
Would recommend this hotel.

We couldn't have asked for a more charming and cozy mountain retreat for our city trip. the hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, greeting us with homemade treats and local drinks. the apartments were beautifully decorated in traditional Cretan style, with wooden ceilings and authentic stone walls. the location was perfect - remote enough for a peaceful escape, yet still within a 15-minute drive from the beach and nearby attractions.
The only downsides we encountered were the limited space for luggage and hanging clothes, and the narrow and uncomfortable bed in one of the apartments. these minor issues were easily overlooked when considering the overall experience of staying in this beautifully designed mountain oasis.

I absolutely loved the charming and cozy atmosphere of Patriko Traditional Stone Houses. The hotel's traditional decoration and wooden ceilings added a touch of warmth and comfort to my stay. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was, with easy access to the main street and a short walk to the parking area. The peacefulness of the surroundings made it a perfect retreat for relaxation.
If I were to ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be the addition of handrails or grab bars in the bathroom to ensure safety and stability.
